Everything deleted off my Sidekick Slide? - my sidekick takes green pics help

The buttons on my Sidekick Slide screen suddenly went black and red and green. No buttons work and could no longer my cell phone. So I removed the battery and back, and once on the phone, I realized everything was deleted. All my contacts have not gone to the SIM, text messages and pictures are. Is there anything I can do now? PS I have a memory card please help, thank you!
