In the long run, do fever reducers actually hurt more than they help? - fever more condition_treatment
In class, basically everything I had to (or even on the housing), human physiology is one thing clear: The fever is a defense mechanism of the body in an attempt to kill viruses or bacteria more effectively.
But when the fever really help more quickly from illness, why people are trying to suppress? Does it hurt more than help in the grand scheme of things? This is another case of people concerned about the well, the short-term and ignore the possible long term?
